I want to mount this hub inside the OQO.  That is why I'm asking is there any internal USB ports that I can access.  Maybe some pins where the WWAN is suppose to plug into.

When using the hub internally I cannot then use it for external devcies... that is what I want to use the external port for.  But if I use the external port for the internal hub it will render the external one useless.

Have not tried it, but can you use a 4 port USB adaptor? There are some tiny ones not much larger than a USB thumb drive.

Yes as I mentioned I would use a USB hub (4 port adapter) but where do i plug it in.  If I just plug it into the only USB port it then renders that port unuseable for other devices.  So either find an internal USB port or disconnect the existing port and use that one and then reconnect it via one of the ports on the hub.

Thanks That will work great. I found a tiny thumb drive sized 4 port hub for about 10 bucks. :-)

Good find..

I was thinking of buying the smallest four port hub off the shelf.  Then taking it apart and just using the circuit board.. wiring the devices directly to it.

This is not really going to help. It is designed to plug into the mini PCIe connector and give you a SATA and a USB port. If you had the mini PCIe port then it means your OQO already came with a WWAN card and you would then need to remove the WWAN to replace with this card. So all in all no use at all. Could be useful if you had an old non-sata laptop with a Mini PCIe connector,  but I don't think there are many of these about.

Not really sure what the application is for this guy.
