"The Sims" (Original 1.0 Game) on the OQO - Need Help!!!

Problems! Help!
The Sims 1 doesn't work on the OQO. It has a weird scrolling problem. The resolution needs to change so that it will run OR it needs to change to that it's in a window. Please help =\

"Not sure about changing the screen resolution, but make sure you click '800x600' when the game launcher comes up. To run in windowed mode, make a shortcut, then right-click and select properties. By the heading 'target' add '-w' (without quotation marks) after a space at the end of the text.
