Since you already made a decision, it won't work for you but if there are any other women reading this thread Gear Diary is giving away a Skooba bag they reviewed.

It's a one day contest so you need to enter today (by midnight CST, February 6).

At least for carrying your OQO I would recommend the VAJA umpc case, they look great and you can customize the colors

I had a Vaja case for one of my Palm pda's.  It was gorgeous.  They really have excellent quality!

Sandy,
I just bought this bag, extended battery connected and it fits fine.

Here is an idea from Steve Gibson when he was asked how he carries his OQO (referred to as "the little Windows machine"):

Steve: ...actually I found a Franklin Day Planner, sort of a big one, that actually had handles. And I hacksawed out the rings inside to create sort of just an empty binder area. And so I have a whole little kit of stuff. I've got my Bose QuietComfort 3 headphones and an iPod with background music and the little Windows machine. And sort of it's like a little tiny little briefcase that I do - oh, and the Kindle fits in a side pocket perfectly.

That looks great!  So, do you use it as your everyday bag/purse?

I recently bought a Timbuk2 bag from REI, and you can see them here:

     http://www.rei.com/product/748541

The one I got was the extra-small messenger.  I can fit my Bose headset case, my OQO, iPod touch, DS Lite, extra OQO battery and a book.

The small pockets on the side hold my wallet, camera and blackberry.  I really like the bag and it's nearly perfect for all of my travel needs, but I need to find padding or something for the base of it to protect my gear.

You really have to see them in person to appreciate them.  The pictures on their website make the bags appear a strange shape.  They actually have a nice, wide base and have velcro that keeps the flap down and your items secure, even if you don't have time to close the clips, which happens frequently when you're trying to move through airport security quickly.

For everyday use, I've been just putting my OQO into whichever purse I happen to be using at the time.

I didn't get one myself; I was just quoting Steve Gibson in the transcript of his podcast: "Franklin Day Planner, sort of a big one".

Here's something that just showed up in GBM:

For myself, I use Lowenpro's Slim Factor S:

http://products.lowepro.com/product/Slim-Factor%20S,2033.htm

I have an old VHS plastic case for an extra battery, pens. and various accessories. I put that in vertically on one side  and there is just enough room for my OQO and a paperback book stored horizontally on the other.

Oh, sorry!!   Embarrassed

When you're ready - here is the man bag my husband purchased (the yellow/grey model):

A little spendy but he really likes all of the pockets and it fits his OQO nicely.

Here's another woman's bag I noticed in a PCWorld article.
