The CaseLogic case for those who are wondering how it fits.

Holds the oqo very secure because of the strap.  It will fit an oqo using a standard battery + a spare ...or... oqo using extended battery.

Pictures below:

Debugy2k - do you know where we can purchase this CaseLogic case from online? They look good and I like the inclusion of the strap.

Thanks,

Stu  Smiley

You can actually get the smaller caselogic case at any Staples or Best Buy location.  Cost about $15.

Office Depot
Staples
Best Buy

The Case Logic HDD case is available in Black, Maroon w/ Tan, and, Navy w/ Yellow interior.

I always have the carrying strap tucked inside for a cleaner look.

Thanks for that info. I'm actually in Australia and we don't have those stores, but we do have an OfficeWorks which might be worth checking out.

Hey Stu...

I grew up down under...where in Australia are you from?  I used to live in Sydney.  Still got friends and relatives down there.  There's plenty of computer stores....CX Computer Superstore and ARC Computers.  I think those are retail chains.   So you should have them by you...that is if you live by major cities.

Here's a good mount that's made for the oqo...but for the car windshield.  But I'm pretty sure you can use it on a glass desk....I might try it out.

I use a small calling card stand I got at office depot for about 4$ as my OQO stand. It gets plenty of air, its really stable and the price was just right Smiley

I remembered that I keep these card holders in our trade show supplies so I grabbed one to test it out.  It works great!!  I'm surprised at how stable it is!

We're going out of town for spring break and I'm doing a little pre-organizing of my OQO and related accessories that will be traveling with me.  I think I'll have to borrow this little gem to take along too.

It's so portable!  Thanks for the tip!   Grin

(is it tacky to quote yourself??)

I just noticed another bonus - if you use the Executive case, the magnet prevents the stand from wandering too far - it sticks right to it!

Does the office Depot stand work with the OQO connected to the power charger/adapter?  What a great stand, I have to find one of these!

It does if you turn it upside down, that's what I do. You can also use the USB port since it's pointing up too. If you use it in the normal orientation, it barely fits onto the stand (small nudge will slide the OQO off). You can prop the sand a bit higher in the front, but it's just easier to turn it upside down.

I wish OQO would incorporate a flip-out stand similar to the one used on the Samsung Q1

i kinda realize  you all will laugh at this but when i had my samsung q1 series i especially liked the 20 degree stand on its back(it has 2 stands behind)..

so when i do not in the mood of carrying any sort of gadget bag with me i just carry the basic door stop with me ( it gives a great 20-25 degree angle) enough for me to do basic surfing at tight spaces or smaller tables

total cost S$50cts

I've stuck egrips to the top and bottom edges of the OQO battery to allow my OQO to lean against a surface without sliding down.

Of course, this works only if you have something to lean the device against.

I love egrips. I use them on my mobile phone. Stick an egrip on the phone, and place the phone on the dashboard of your car. It will never slip and slide.

I also use egrips on my tablet PC. Haven't used them on my OQO since I use the leather exec case.
