there are mac tablet programs, I have one for my usb tablet, any chance that would help, just let me know.

I wish it was as easy as just installing a program to make these things work like you mention lol  We have to modify the kexts (drivers) in order for it to recognize things such as Audio, wifi, USB, Tablet, WWAN, Video.  If anybody knows how to create kexts to the right hardware and could contact us it would speed things up on getting VIDEO working, then we could post a walkthrough.   Grin

Thanks man, not rushing you, take you time man.

Once again, really really thanks for work from you and trf!

I guess "video" is a slightly important thing to get working properly Wink

If I ever had an excuse to get a second OQO, getting a test unit to use for a Mac installation would be it.

Hmm...tempting.    Undecided

Yes but I am about to remove vista now that I figured out how to dual-boot OS X using xp's "boot.ini".  The only reason I kept vista on it was because it was easier using "EASYBCD" for Vista.

If I start to run out of room then I will kill Vista   Tongue

P.S.  XP ROCKS!!   Cool

Video is not our main concern right now since the resolution is only bad on an external monitor.  Right now TRF is working on WWAN and I am working on USB which we THOUGHT was working right.  I am in class right now so I will try to post again in more detail later today.

I managed to do a dual boot of Kalyway using XP and the chain0 method. OSX setup boots fine, you just need to know the correct sequence of keypresses, i.e tabs and spaces since the restricted resolution obscures this from view.

Install completed successfully but when booting into OSX it all just hung on the grey apple window with spinning cursor. I expect the correct selection of install options patches etc should solve this. Looking forward to some info.

We have now completed the OS install options and sequence, the sound instruction sequence, and the WIFI instruction sequence.  We had these items working but we had to identify the sequence of installation steps.  This has taken about a week for sound and a week for WIFI.  Jt is working on USB and making progress there with a script he has written.  I am working on WWAN.  We have setup workarounds for video but it will be limited to 800x480 until we get a driver for it.  This also limits video playback because of the lack of video acceleration.  We are working on it but not yet finished.  We are making significant progress but we want to have at least the primary elements finished so that you can set up Leopard and use it successfully prior to a post.  It would not be very useful without sound or WIFI or a usable usb.  We are getting closer.
Thanks for your patience.
