Very sensible approach.
Could I also respectfully suggest that the Moderators create a new OS-X section under Operating Systems, so that the inevitable related posts can be in sperate threads rather than turning this into a Huge multi-threaded conversation?

If I might make a suggestion.
Why don't you all consider doing a few beta testers from the board and see how that goes rather than a general release which may or may not invite a massive amount of questions and or potential problems directed at you not to mention the headaches which are sure to follow.
That would allow a few, who would have differant units, and software titles to play around and see if any problems come up.
I am sure youw ould find a few forum members to volunteer their time in helping out on this.
Just a thought.
