Now you can get unlimited UMTS for just $20/mon, no contract, no voice plan required:

OQO really needs to offer a GSM option in addition to EVDO. Of course, one can always buy a UMTS USB modem, open it and put its card into an oqo.

I have not tried (I'm enjoying VZ Rev. A EVDO for $3.75/mon total on all my devices, no contract, no voice plan) but I saw people using all kinds of devices on this $20 deal - iPhone, Aircards.... It is so easy, just call 611 and you are online. Any Novatel aircards are the best, just don't get those Korean branded - bad reception and sluggish.

I share everything I can, but not on that one, sorry. All the necessary info can be found on the net. I just cannot post the step-by-step because once VZ sees it, it'll be gone.

This won't work if I already have T-Mobile service, correct?

I guess what I mean is, I can't have a phone that uses T-Mobile for voice, and ATT for data even if it's an unlocked phone, right?
