hi,

I am an owner of oqo model 2 and live in Greece in Europe. Today my device suddenly didn't boot. No "oqo screen", no vista loading, nothing. Only the power button is the normal "white-blue" color and the fan works. I also changed the battery with the exteded and does not boot either. I also tried to boot the machine via the power cable but does not boot. The keyboard does not light up. Only the "fn ctl alt shift" buttons appear to light up. I also pressed the power button for 5 seconds but the device didn't boot up.

Is there anything that I can do myself? If not how can I send you the unit to fix it? It has warranty and has genuine windows vista ultimate. Please answer me because I spend 1600 euros for this computer and I am very unhappy now.

Thank for your time

AFAIK, OQO doesn't provide any form of direct support for international customers outside of the US. Also, not sure if anyone else have told you, but this is not the official OQO support forum or website. I hope you have a detailer/retailer international retailer such as Dynamism or eXpansys to go back to for repairs/RMA. International customers like us have to fend for ourselves (my OQO is currently in it's 2nd RMA). Cheers.

You need to send it in for service.  I had the same problem with mine and they fixed my OQO very quickly.  I had a four day turn-around from the time I called.  I understand that international customers have a longer wait.  Good luck!

My OQO had the same problem, as I just posted in another discussion it might be a design flaw.. I sent mine from Australia to US just over 2 weeks ago.  I hope I get it back by the end of the month.

Next week I'm off for work interstate, this is when I really miss my OQO.
