Hey all,

I was wondering if someone could please help me out. I have a rather long list of e-mail addresses of radio stations. Is there any way in Open Office or Microsoft Word that I can find duplicate e-mail addresses?

Thanks heaps,

Hmm, I think there are some add-ons you can get to do that.
Do you have Excel?  There is a filter to remove duplicates in Excel - you could paste it in from Word, remove dupes with the filter, then paste them back to Word.

I imagine there is probably similar functionality in Open Office but I haven't used it enough to know...

I have Excel at uni so I could use it there. Do you know where I could find that from?

Thanks for the reply.

...OR, you could import the data into an Access table and then run a query that would remove the duplicate entries.  How many addresses are you talking about? If it's hundreds, then Access or any database application will be your best bet.
