My e2 has died and i am back using my 02. However one of the spring clips that hold the slide out screen in place has pinged out. Does anyone have any idea how to put it back? I have tried for ages with a pair of tweasers and a lot of patience....

Cheers,

I've done this once - I don't exactly remember, but there are tiny slits, one on the corner piece and the other on the screen that you simply press the clip against.  It becomes stable once it is pressed against both the corner piece and the screen.  It doesn't actually tie around anything.

I hope this helps.

The easiest way would probably be to remove the antenna cover and pull the screen back enough to put the spring back into place.  I did one a couple of nights ago but it was not easy.

The connection on the anntenna cover is just a little bump and the spring has a ring on the end of it that fits over this bump.  The other end of this winding spring seats against a very small plastic cup.  It is not connected at all.  If the spring gets past this plastic cup it could cause screen damage so I would not recommend operating the screen up and down if the spring is not in place.

I know my description sounds strange but that is the best way that I can describe it.  If you are good with small parts or have a sense of adventure just remove the side anntenna cover carefully and you can pull the screen out enough to put everything in place.  Good luck.
