Last year the screen on my OQO Model 2 failed and it was returned under an RMA# to the UK service centre under warranty.   After months of chasing I found that the UK service centre had been shut down and it had been transferred to the US where months of chasing produced lots of excuses why it hadn't been repaired and returned for reasons that are now obvious.  My question is though does anyone know who I can contact to get it returned?  Without it I am stuck but if I can get it back, repaired or not,  I can at least return it to the vendor and get my money refunded.

Thanks.  I tried emailing them but the message was bounced by their Spam filters for no obvious reason I could see (using a proper email address, not hotmail or anything).  Perhaps I will give them a call later today.

Keep trying. Norbert is most helpful. You get a lot of answering machines though for phone calls. I used 'Skype out' from my OQO with no problems. Just keep on. Teleplan office hours are 0700-1900. My email for a repair post OQO Inc. a few days ago got through from Australia with no difficulties. I always use plain text and ask for read receipts. Keep it simple !

It's probably with Teleplan. That's where mine was sitting for months. They wouldn't start any repair until they're sure someone would pay for it.

Use another e-mail account if your's keep getting caught as SPAM. It might be your ISP or mail gateway they are filtering. I had no problems getting through on Hotmail and Norbert was quite responsive.

Tried different email accounts running through different ISPs and using different text and subject lines and they have all been bounced immediately with:

"X-Postfix; host mx02.teleplan.com[62.189.16.73] said: 550
5.7.1 Message rejected. Your email has been rejected by Teleplan's spam
filter. (in reply to end of DATA command)"

So not sure what is happening with their spam filtering but I can't get anything through it at the moment.

Looks like phoning is the only option although, if as said, its difficult to get through to anything other an answering machine, doing so internationally will not be fun.

You certainly aren't having much joy.

Australia sleeps while the USA works with the 14 odd hours time difference so calling was a problem for me which with 5 or so hours difference won't be for you.

Strange you are having email problems though. Send me a test email and see if the problem is for Oz as well.

Pity you lot aren't one down already !

Thanks for all your help guys.  Just spoken to a very helpful Norbert first call.  He has the unit, we've sorted out the repair to be done and he has given me alternative contact details to deal with the spam filters.

Many thanks for all your help
