When you sent it to OQO, was it still under the original 1st year warranty? We never dealt with OQO, since we were already outside the first year.
When I called Warrantech (can't remember if it was at 800-292-7726 or 800-262-2138), I gave them our membership number, which can be found on the extended warranty card that OQO shipped to us.
See this example. That sample shows that you had to register the warranty with RepairMaster/Warrantech within 10 days of purchase, which we did by going to
www.wcpsonline.com/oqo.
After giving Bill @ Warrantech our membership no., he gave me a contract validation number. I explained the symptoms and what I'd done to troubleshoot, and then he issued an RMA authorization number along with all the contact info for Teleplan.
Not once did I have to fax or email anything to Warrantech to get the ball rolling.
Did you register your membership number with RepairMaster/Warrantech when you received it? Would you like me to send you the email contacts I've used successfully?
