I have this lenovo thinkpad laptop and i upgaraded from win xp to 7 after installing the drives and restarting the computer just locked on one screen and i have tried but no winning .

What screen is it locked on? What does the screen say? Have you tried doing a clean install rather than an upgrade? Also, try getting Windows to find the drivers for you before you install them as you may find that some of your drivers are not compatible.
