Another review - extremely positive on everything except price - however so dissapointed with price that he ended up buying Sony UX instead!

Frappr map -- where are the other OQO Owners?

Kenrick (in Alaska!) created a
Frappr map
where people can "log" their location so others can see where OQO Owners are located. Pretty cool -- can't wait until there are a few hundred or thousand dots on the map ...

Hm. If you click on the "Move this pin" link, can you type in something like Sydney, Australia? Quite a few people have registered themselves in places like Romania and UK, although I don't see any in Australia ...

(probably
they are not aware of change in settings discussed on this forum that fixes that),
the settings in those changes seem to do with how the machine interacts with the hard drive. are those changes relevant to the SSD drive? i have a vista machine with ssd, and it runs fine out of the box.

I don't think the link should be removed, it is not titled USEFUL LINKS FOR THE OQO 2. It is USEFUL LINKS. Way too many OQO 1 and 1+ owners will be needing that link as their units age. Just put a discalimer that the CAPS will NOT ft the OQO 2's

UPdated to include suggestions (thanks to everyone that contributed):
Retailers and Resellers combined and moved;
marked TrackPoint caps as for 01/+;
added News section;
Kennrick's Frapper map;
multiple reviews;
I currently have no intention of posting any of the (fantastic) member-ware until control of versions is implemented, and a semi-official location can be located.

I've been in touch with TufNut about them maybe making some changes to their security extender, which is almost what is needed to make a lanyard holder for the Kensington security slot. We'll see how this turns out.
Did anything ever come of this?

You left out Gizmodo
http://gizmodo.com/tag/oqo/
Also, you can update the Ultra Mobility link with this url to filter OQO labels/posts

Cheers.
